At long last, this summer saw the beginning of being able to return to "normal" and here at Affinity, we didn't waste any time in catching up on some much-needed fun and bonding times with our fantastic families, children, young people and carers.
We felt they all deserved some real treats, after the challenges of foster parenting during a pandemic.
In August over 30 people from the Affinity family descended on Kent Life Heritage Farm Park, where we all had a fantastic time learning about historical Kentish farming and seeing all the adorable farm animals. We followed this a few days later with another Affinity family gathering at Tattershall Farm Park in south Lincolnshire.
It was great to see everyone at the events, and have a proper catch-up, face-to-face, while the children and young people had fantastic summer fun taking part in activities and learning about the animals. We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you, to everyone who took part, many happy memories were made!
