We are a family!
At Affinity, our priorities are our young people and our foster carers.
Affinity provides competitive, tiered fostering allowances, fantastic respite allowances and rewards!
If you identify as LGBTQ+ and want to be a foster carer, we can help you! Get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
Personal growth is important to all young people, and Affinity believes in listening to everyone in our care. That’s why we created Voices. Voices is a group of young people who help us to decide what we do as a company. From deciding on activities and trips to influencing our practices, their feedback is central to Affinity’s ethos.
Whether it’s going away for a long weekend break, taking part in projects, or spending time on away days, we strive to provide a variety of fun, educational, and confidence building activities for the children in our care. Affinity also recognises that our foster carer’s children also may need time out, so we arrange amazing days out for them too!
Taking the leap into fostering can be a scary decision. That’s why we offer 24/7 support from the minute you decide to take the plunge with us. Affinity foster carers benefit from regular supervision with an assigned social worker, local support groups where they can meet other foster carers, as well as regular events, enabling them to build a support network.
All our social workers have manageable workloads, so they can properly invest their time in you.
Deciding to be a foster carer can pull up so many questions. Some of them are answered here.
Our ethos for ‘Enhancing and Empowering Young Lives’ has pushed us to ensure that everyone we work with is supported to achieve their very best. That’s why Affinity has always been rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
